According to data provided by Luo Yu, the hybrid vehicles have significant environmental benefits. Compared with normal gasoline vehicles, HEV can save 30% to 50% of fuel and reduce emissions by 40% to 80%. If achieving 50% penetration, China It can reduce oil consumption from 7.5% to 12.5% and reduce air pollution by 5% to 10%.
In terms of patents on hydrogen storage alloy powders, domestic enterprises have an absolute advantage. Luo Yu believes that “up to now, the patents for hydrogen storage alloy powders that have been authorized by Chinese-funded enterprises have been 116, accounting for 95.9% of the total number of authorizations. Acquired high-end application technologies and patents through acquisitions and localization, and together with the Xiamen Tungsten Industry achieved localization.”
