Model specification for cylindrical lithium batteries

The model of the Cylindrical Lithium Battery is named, consisting of three letters and five digits. IEC61960 specifies the rules for cylindrical and square batteries as follows:Low temperature and high energy density 18650 3500mAh

Charging temperature: 0 ≤ 45 ℃
-discharge temperature:-40 ≤ 55 ℃

Cylindrical lithium battery, 3 letters followed by 5 numbers. Three letters, I for built-in lithium ions, L for lithium metal or lithium alloy electrodes. The second letter represents the cathode material, C for the drill, N for nickel, M for manganese and V for vanadium. The third letter, R, represents the cylinder.

Five numbers, the first two numbers for diameter, and the last three numbers for height, all in mm.

For example, ICR18650 is a universal 18650 Cylindrical Battery with a diameter of 18mm and a height of 65 mm.

3.6V is the index of 3.6V voltage.

C is the discharge rate of the battery, unit mAh, which is commonly said to be the discharge size or speed per unit time. For example, the battery capacity used for 1 hour discharge is called 1C discharge, and 5 h discharge is called 0.2C discharge.The model name of the square battery: six numbers indicate the thickness, width and height of the battery in millimeters. If any of the three dimensions is greater than or equal to 100mm, a slash should be added between the dimensions; if any of the three dimensions is less than 1mm, the letter t "should be added to this size, which is in units of 1/10 mm.

ICP103450 represents a square secondary lithium-ion battery, the cathode material is a drill, its thickness is about 10mm, its width is about 34mm, and its height is about 50mm.

ICPO8/34/150 represents a square secondary lithium-ion battery, the cathode material is a drill, its thickness is about 8mm, the width is about 34mm, the height is about 150mm.

ICPt73448 represents a square secondary lithium-ion battery, the cathode material is a drill, its thickness is about 0.7mm, the width is about 34mm, the height is about 48mm.
